CONSTANT OVERTHINKING LEADS TOWARDS SUFFERING

We are dying from overthinking. We are slowly killing ourselves by thinking about everything. Think. Think. You can never trust the human mind anyway. It’s a death trap.

OVERTHINKING CREAT NONEXISTENT PROBLEMS

Actually, the human mind keeps on thinking every time. It is least interested in stopping thinking. Naturally, constant thinking jeopardizes human mental health. Therefore, it is essential to train the mind to abstain from overthinking.

Definitely, thinking to perform a task is necessary. Obviously, overthinking about it would invite sadness only. Actually, every human has nature to unnecessarily jumping from one thought to another. Therefore, we must refrain from useless wandering of our mind.

Today in the morning I wake up thinking about breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I continued thinking about these throughout the whole day. No effort was done to have these. of course, it would not serve any purpose? Certainly, the answer would be in negative.

OWN THOUGHTS ARE TROUBLE MAKERS

Actually, every human constantly keeps on wandering from one thought to another. As such, we have no control over our mind. Certainly, either we analyze the past happenings or forsee uncertain future events.

Actually, the past has gone then why we waste our energy in doing a postmortem of those incidents. Similarly, the future is yet to come, so worrying about it is nothing more than a futile exercise.

OVERTHINKING WORSEN EVERYTHING

Someone criticised me a week ago. The analysis of that event, again and again, will certainly, increase negative feelings about that person. Obviously, the feelings of hatred, animosity, and anger would arise in my mind. 

I appeared in an examination. The result would be declared after two months.Definitely, To worry about whether I would succeed ruins the enjoyment of present moments.

EXAMPLE

A cowherd went to a town to sell milk in an earthen pot over his head. A continuous thought process of how he would become the rich person one day by selling the milk. While doing so, he could not remain aware of the potholes on the path. Suddenly he fell down. The pot broke away and the milk spilled on the path.

MEDITATION HELP TO TRAIN THE MIND

No doubt the meditation will certainly, help to cultivate the right thought process. We would be able to train our mind and develop the mindfulness. As a result, we would enjoy the present happenings from moment to moment.
