All the human being must OBSERVE THE MIND WHILE MEDITATING. It is required that we restrain and compose the other sense organs at the time of practicing meditation.

CONTEMPLATE MENTAL FEELINGS

Actually, we shall contemplate the mental feelings and formations. In order to practice earnestly, we shall concentrate on the incoming and outgoing breath. Both the observation of mind with awareness and concentration on the breath will help tremendously in our practice of meditation. Certainly, we would be able to walk ahead on the meditation path without any hardship. It will encourage the practice of the letting go of attachments to the desires of clinging and aversion. This attachment is the root cause of unsatisfactoriness and suffering.

DEVELOP THE WISDOM

Wise people always try to develop the awareness of knowing and accepting of the arising and passing away of the mental feelings. Certainly, we would be able to know about our mental feelings while remaining in the present moment.

Actually, the feelings arising at the sensual contact with the outside objects, constantly wander in the mind.

OBSERVE THE MENTAL FEELINGS

We ought to contemplate and try to know the mental feelings that arise and cease in our mind. These feelings arise consequent to a contact to an outside object through any of our sensual organs. As soon as the contact is established the resultant mental feeling of pleasure or displeasure arises. Soon we develop a desire of clinging or aversion.

TRANSFORM THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT INTO KNOWING

The mental feelings arising due to contacts with the outside world are acknowledged by the mind. By doing the meditation practices we can transform the process of acknowledgment into knowing.

For example:- I am hearing a song through my ears. My mental feelings may like or dislike it after acknowledging it’s sweetness or bitterness. Consequently, feelings of clinging or aversion take place in my mind. I shall have to transform this acknowledgment to the knowledge that I am at present hearing a song. This contemplation of knowledge will help in letting go of the attachments to the desires. Simply, the mind shall be ready to know and accept that oh it is a song.

CONCLUSION

DEFINITELY, We ought to have to train our mind so that it accepts all happenings ‘ as the way they are’. It will only be possible when we start the meditation practice for every happening each moment.
